Nick is a Sweet Water guide school graduate, former forest service fire fighter; with this experience, expertise, and easy going personality, it makes him a pleasure to spend a day with. With his experience in the Tuolumne and Stanislaus river systems a trip with Nick is a fun, informative and productive time.

david Gregory

David has a B.S. in Parks and Recreation Management and is a graduate of Clearwater Guide School. He is enthusiastically devoted to sharing his love of fly fishing and always wears a smile. The past decade he has formed a deep connection to Yosemite and the cool crystal waters of the Merced River. A classic trout stream of extreme beauty that will leave you feeling hooked.

Rick Mazaira


Rick has been fly fishing since 1984 and has been guiding professionally since 2008. Living in the Yosemite region has exposed him to a lot of varied water, from creeks to alpine lakes, streams to river, and the excitement for these waters he has is contagious. His patient and easy going demeanor while passionate about seeing people learn and advance as anglers always leaves people with a great experience.

Rob Hrabik


Rob the “Fish Magician” has been fishing in Yosemite National Park for over 15 years and spends his summers living in Tuolumne Meadows where the Dana Fork is outside his front door. His passion is throwing streamers for wild fish and over the past few years he has been doing the Euro nymphing thing too. He’s an expert fly tier and a wealth of knowledge. A day with Rob is a guaranteed great time.

Gregory Nespor


“Ranger Greg” spent fifteen years working in Yosemite’s Wilderness as a park ranger before becoming a fly fishing guide. He loves teaching his clients the passion of fly fishing and stories of Yosemite’s natural & human history. In the fly fishing world, Greg worked for Echo Fly Rods where he practiced his fly casting and ping pong game under the leadership of Tim Rajeff and Katherine Hart and currently works for The Caddis Fly Shop in Eugene, OR. He loves fishing, surfing, skiing, floating rivers, chocolate ice cream, and hiking in to the mountains with a backpack on.
